Coronavirus - Updates, Information & Advice
Gaudium Services Update 11/11/2020
It now seems like it will be spring before we can welcome our Day Services clients back to our centre, however work is ongoing with the local strategic team to coordinate this return safely for everyone involved. Our domiciliary and 1:1 sessions continue with increased safety measures and continue to follow updated guidelines.
Gaudium Services Update 03/09/2020
We have welcomed back our admin staff to our new socially distanced office, and are still working hard to keep up to date with the policies and procedures. Our Day Centre remains closed until further notice, but our Day Care at Home and Domiciliary services remain up and running.
Gaudium Services Update 20/06/2020
We have made significant changes to how we deliver our services, while understanding and adhering to government policies. We are continuously working incredibly hard to protect our clients and staff from the virus.
Day Centre Service Suspension 17/03/2020
Following the recent COVID-19 outbreak, Gaudium are doing all that we can to protect against COVID-19 within our clients' homes and services. Our carers are experienced in reducing the spread of infections, such as seasonal flu and norovirus in our homes and services, and our managers are therefore well prepared to manage the risks that COVID-19 poses. However, following the advice of the government and local council, Gaudium have temporarily suspended its Day Centre services. We are instead offering Day Care at Home services to our clients, until we are able to open our doors once more.
Information & Advice
What safety measures are being taken?
We have a tailored Covid-specific Risk Assessment in place which is being followed. Due to changing guidance this is being periodically updated and so we have not posted it to our website. An up to date copy is available on request.
We continue to strictly follow the guidance from the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) and Public Health England.
