Living with Dementia, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's and the effects of a stroke

Here at Gaudium, we provide a Day Centre, one-to-one sessions and home support for adults suffering from; Dementia, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s, recovering from strokes, and other vulnerable adults.  We also provide support and relief to unpaid carers.

We aim to promote independent living within the home as much as possible, also enabling the pursuit of a full and interesting life. Each client is an individual and we tailor our care provision specifically to enable them, and their families,  to remain supported and independent in their own home for as long as possible.

Funding Options 

Our services are offered to private clients and clients who are eligible for funding for their care from Social Services. They can conduct a financial assessment for you to find out if you could get money towards or covering the cost of your care.


Day Care at Home

Day Care at Home aims to provide you with a social connection, whether it is a trip to the shops with a carer, a visit to the local garden centre or a natter and company at home. We can be there for you with a unique one to one service tailored especially for you

Day Centre

Giving older adults an opportunity to get out of the house, whilst giving carers a much needed break. We provide a choice of activities in our centre open weekdays 09:00 - 15:00

Domiciliary Care

Our friendly carers provide a range of support services in the Penrith area, with flexible care packages depending on your needs. Single or multiple daily visits helping with personal care, medications, meals and domestic tasks
