The sky's the limit for Wendy!
We are proud of Wendy Mackenzie, a care worker at Gaudium Penrith, who is raising money for Hospice at Home. On 2nd September 2017, in Lancaster, Wendy is going to head for the sky, for a thrilling skydive fundraising challenge. Wendy will be jumping out at 11,000 ft to experience a 120 mph rush down to earth, and and hopes to raise £500 for the charity.
Wendy is not new to fundraising, and has undertaken a number of challenges, including a 5 day walk in the Jordon mountains, for the Britain v Cancer Trek Jordan 2013, and various moonlight walks and other charity challenges.
Mariusz Waluk, Managing Director at Gaudium, is very supportive of Wendy, and other staff, who undertake fundraising challenges for great causes, such as; Hospice at Home Carlisle and North Lakeland, as the charity provides high quality care and support for adults who have palliative and end of life care needs, and also for their families and carers.
Gaudium will be making their own contribution to Wendy for her fundraising, but if you wish to support Wendy, please donate at https://mydonate.bt.com/fundraisers/wendymackenzie1.
We will keep you posted of Wendy's skydiving adventure, and wish her lots of luck in her fundraising :).
